Bengals WR A.J. Green came away with just a knee bruise when he got hurt in practice Thursday.  Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Green called the injury similar to one he suffered as a rookie in 2011.  Green hyperextended his left knee against Pittsburgh that season and missed 10 days, including 1 game.  HC Marvin Lewis said the team will evaluate Green after the weekend.  Reedy reports that the WR could sit a week or 2.  Either way, this injury shouldn't change your fantasy football outlook for Green.  The Bengals might sit him for 2 weeks at this point just to be cautious because there's little reason to rush him back.  Unless we hear more negative reports, we're keeping Green high in the WR rankings.

WR A.J. Green announced his retirement on Monday. His play tailed off dramatically over the past couple of seasons, but Green had an awesome NFL career. He topped 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first 5 seasons and 6 of his first 7. He reached double-digit TDs 3 times. Green currently sits inside the top 50 in all-time receiving yards and scores.
