Washington DE Jason Hatcher is expected to miss 4-6 weeks following surgery on his left knee. A Tuesday MRI revealed the need for a "clean up" scope, according to ESPN's John Keim. Hatcher had reported pain and swelling apparently caused by a cartilage issue. The timeline should return him to the field well before the start of the regular season, but Hatcher is learning a new position after moving from Dallas' 4-3 "Tampa 2" scheme to Washington's primarily 3-4 front. We'll see how he performs upon his return and figure out whether he can help your IDP squad in 2014.
