Washington CB Josh Norman left Sunday's game with a concussion. He'll need to pass through the league protocol now before returning to action.

Recent Shark Bites

Washington CB Josh Norman is active for today's game against the Lions. He's not an injury risk, but there had been reports Washington planned to leave Norman inactive after sitting him late in last week's loss to the Jets. It's tough to know exactly what role Norman will play, but his active status points to him remaining in the starting lineup.

Washington CB Josh Norman (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions. He was limited Friday, but that followed a pair of full workouts and playing through the issue in Week 11. Norman and Washington's other top 2 CBs did get pulled late in last Sunday's loss to the Jets. Interim HC Bill Callahan told the Washington Times afterward that he made the move because "they wanted to look at other players." Washington was down 20-3 entering the 4th quarter of that game and 27-3 less than 2 minutes into the 4th quarter. It would be tougher to justify pulling the starters in a closer game. We'll check Norman's status Sunday morning.

Washington CB Josh Norman (thigh) is inactive for today's game against the 49ers. Norman hasn't played very well this year, so his absence doesn't significantly alter the matchup. But it can only help the outlook for WR Dante Pettis.

NFL Network reports that Washington CB Josh Norman is expected to play Sunday against the Cowboys. He missed the past 2 games with a rib fracture and damage to the lining of 1 of his lungs. He's likely to shadow Cowboys WR Dez Bryant, who posted lines of 7-102 and 5-72 (on 19 combined targets) in 2 games against Washington last year.

Washington has ruled CB Josh Norman out for Monday night's game against the Eagles. The team had hoped to get Norman back from his rib injury but will play its 2nd straight game without him. Norman's absence doesn't matter much for IDP leagues, but it helps the fantasy outlook for Eagles lead WR Alshon Jeffery. The Philly wideout caught just 3 of 7 targets in the Week 1 victory at Washington, with Norman covering him most of the day. CB Bashaud Breeland (knee) and LB Mason Foster (shoulder) are questionable for the game.
