Bills RB LeSean McCoy (ribs) said Wednesday that he expects to return for this weekend's game against the Packers. He was officially limited in today's practice. We'll monitor McCoy's progress over the next couple of days. Buffalo's offense has shown some signs of life, and Green Bay is allowing 5.0 yards per carry to RBs so far. McCoy will be a low-end RB2 if active on Sunday.
Bills RB LeSean McCoy wasn't on the field when his team began its 1st possession of Sunday's loss to the Patriots. Although he entered on the 2nd play, McCoy wound up trailing undrafted rookie "starter" Keith Ford by 1 carry (7-6) and 1 target (4-3). The veteran finished with just 19 total yards. Afterward, he said a "situation" with HC Sean McDermott led to the discipline. "Coach, we had a situation, and he was totally right," McCoy said, per ESPN.com. "It was a private situation. I'm a captain and I gotta be more accountable. Simple as that. He checked me, put me in place. That was it." The 30-year-old seems likely to be just 1 game away from at least his Buffalo career ending. McCoy remains under contract through 2019, but the final year includes a cuttable $2.625 million in dead money if he's released.
Bills RB LeSean McCoy (hamstring) isn’t listed on the final injury report after practicing all week, including full workouts on Thursday and Friday. He’ll return for this weekend’s game against the Patriots but is just a RB3 with Buffalo huge underdogs in that one. RB Chris Ivory (shoulder) is listed as questionable.
Bills RB LeSean McCoy (hamstring) said he'll play against the Patriots this weekend after practicing on Thursday for the 2nd straight day. He'll step back in as Buffalo's lead back but is just a RB3 with his team a 13-point road underdog.
Bills RB LeSean McCoy (hamstring) put in a limited practice on Wednesday. He was limited last Thursday and Friday before sitting out the Lions game, so we can't yet say he's on track to play against the Patriots this weekend. Check back tomorrow for another update.
Bills RB LeSean McCoy (hamstring) won't play against the Lions today, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. We'll see if RB Chris Ivory is able to play through his shoulder injury. If not, Marcus Murphy would be left as Buffalo's lead back. We'll get the official inactives at 11:30 am ET.
