Bucs WR Chris Godwin (hamstring) is out again for Sunday's game against the Falcons. Breshad Perriman and Justin Watson get another game as the top 2 WRs. Both guys are strong target bets with QB Jameis Winston averaging 40.1 passes per game.
The Buccaneers are placing the franchise tag on WR Chris Godwin, according to multiple reports. Barring a trade, that locks in a 2021 return for Godwin. We'll see whether the 2 sides work out a longer-term deal before the deadline. Godwin slipped last season from his monster 2019 production, but he still ranked 15th among wideouts in PPR points per game. Expect him to battle Mike Evans once again for the top fantasy score among Bucs receivers. His return suppresses the upside of 2nd-year WR Tyler Johnson, but it keeps QB Tom Brady working with 1 of the league's best WR tandems. We'll see what Tampa elects to do with WR Antonio Brown, who is headed for free agency this month.
Bucs WRs Chris Godwin (finger) and Mike Evans (hamstring) were left off the final injury report. Godwin missed Wednesday’s practice after getting a pin removed from his previously broken finger but put in full workouts on Thursday and Friday. Evans was limited Wednesday, sidelined on Thursday but a full-go on Friday. Both guys are safe to get into Week 14 fantasy lineups.
Bucs WR Chris Godwin (finger) put in a full practice on Thursday. It's confirmation that he'll be ready to rock for this weekend's game vs. the Vikings.
Bucs WR Chris Godwin had a "minor procedure" to have the pins removed from his broken finger on Tuesday morning, according to the Tampa Bay Times' Rick Stroud. This is the finger injury that cost Godwin Week 8. We imagine he'll be fine for Sunday's game against the Vikings but will keep an eye on his status over the next few days.
Bucs WR Chris Godwin (finger) is active for tonight’s game against the Saints. He caught footballs for the 1st time on Friday after undergoing surgery to repair a fractured left index finger about 2 weeks ago. We’ll see how that impacts his ability to catch, but Tampa evidently feels comfortable enough to play him tonight.
