Chiefs HC Andy Reid said he had to alter WR Xavier Worthy's role last year after his Week 1 shoulder injury. Worthy went down with a dislocated shoulder on his third snap of the season. He missed the next two games and then averaged just 3.2 catches and 40.9 yards over the final 13 contests.

The Chargers have agreed to a one-year deal with TE David Njoku, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The contract will be worth "up to" $8 million. That max value would tie him for 19th among TEs in average annual salary for 2026, $100,000 behind new teammate Charlie Kolar. This addition points to a three-man committee.

Broncos HC Sean Payton said Saturday that he expects QB Bo Nix (ankle) to be cleared “full speed by training camp.” Nix should also participate in June minicamp.

The Jets have worked out a three-year deal with RB Breece Hall. The pact will pay out $45.75 million over three years, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, and replaces Hall's franchise tag. The guaranteed money has not been revealed yet as of this writing.

The Browns on Friday announced that LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah has landed on the reserve/physically unable to perform list. That means he's out for the entire 2026 season. JOK is still trying to work back from a neck injury he suffered in Week 8 of 2024. He also spent 2025 on the reserve/PUP list.

The Vikings agreed Thursday to a one-year contract with former 49ers WR Jauan Jennings. The deal will pay Jennings $8 million, with potential for the earnings to climb as high as $13 million. Jennings spent his first six NFL seasons in San Francisco and will turn 29 in July.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport wrote Thursday that QB Aaron Rodgers “will likely” return to the Steelers next season. Rodgers is set to meet with the team Friday, and a new deal could follow shortly after.

Packers RB MarShawn Lloyd has appeared in just one regular-season game since Green Bay took him in Round 3 of the 2024 NFL Draft. Hamstring, ankle, groin, and calf injuries, plus an appendectomy, have kept him off the field. But RBs coach Ben Sirmans said this week that Lloyd is healthy now, and the team is optimistic he'll contribute in 2026.

Jaguars GM James Gladstone said he expects Travis Hunter to play both offense and defense again this season, and that the team is “absolutely not” done using him as a two-way player. He added that Hunter’s CB percentage and defensive snap count should rise. Hunter played 324 snaps at WR and 162 at CB last season, which matches the earlier reports pointing to a bigger defensive role. Gladstone did not call Hunter a “full-time” CB, but it sounds like those snap counts could be much closer to even in 2026.

49ers TE George Kittle could open the season on the PUP list as he works back from an Achilles injury, according to NBC Sports Bay Area’s Matt Maiocco.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara has been bandied as a trade or cut candidate all offseason, especially since the arrival of RB Travis Etienne. But, appearing on Terron Armstead's The Set on Monday, Kamara sounded set on returning for another season in New Orleans.

Raiders QB Fernando Mendoza said he has a “long way to go” in his adjustment to playing under center. He took only 3% of his snaps under center at Indiana last season, per ESPN.

Jaguars beat writer John Shipley believes new RB Chris Rodriguez will lead the team in carries in 2025. He also thinks the workload could be close to even with second-year RB Bhayshul Tuten. The Jaguars were rumored to be interested in moving up for a RB ahead of the NFL Draft, but they drafted none and added only UDFA J’Mari Taylor to the room. For now, Rodriguez, Tuten, and LeQuint Allen appear set to make up the active gameday roster at the position.

Commanders GM Adam Peters expects rookie WR Antonio Williams to be able to play both the 'Z' and slot receiver positions. WR Terry McLaurin is locked in as the 'X,' but there's clear opportunity for Williams to earn snaps right away at those other two spots.

Ravens GM Eric DeCosta said after drafting WR Elijah Sarratt that the team believes he can play both outside and in the slot. "We think he’s really, really good inside," DeCosta added. Sarratt spent most of his time in college on the outside, but there are reasons to believe that the slot might be a better fit.

Broncos QB Bo Nix underwent a second procedure on his surgically repaired right ankle, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The “clean-up” surgery was performed last week in Birmingham, AL, by Dr. Norman Waldrop III, who also handled the initial procedure on January 19.
