Nick Sirianni Finally Stops Hanging Out with That One Friend

Eagles HC Nick Sirianni announced Tuesday that he'll be replacing OC Kevin Patullo. The deposed coordinator filled that role for the first time in his career (at any level) this season. He had worked under Sirianni since the two joined Frank Reich's staff with the Colts in 2018. That includes spending the past five years with Sirianni in Philadelphia, four as pass-game coordinator before taking over for Kellen Moore in 2025.

        Chargers Looking For New OC

The Chargers fired OC Greg Roman. The offense was disappointing this season, but an injury-wrecked offensive line was a much bigger culprit than Roman's scheme or play-calling. The Chargers lost LT Rashawn Slater to a season-ending torn patellar tendon in August and then watched RT Joe Alt go down with his own season-ending ankle injury in Week 9. Los Angeles finished bottom two in Pro Football Focus' run- and pass-blocking grades and ESPN's run- and pass-blocking win rates. QB Justin Herbert was pressured on a league-high 43.6% of his dropbacks. We'll see who the Chargers tab to replace Roman. But the offensive line should be much better in 2026 with better health. With Herbert, plus RB Omarion Hampton, WRs Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston, and Tre Harris, and TE Oronde Gadsden, this is a prime bounce-back offense to target in fantasy drafts.

        Gabe Davis Has Torn ACL

Bills WR Gabe Davis tore his left ACL in Sunday's Wild Card win over the Jaguars, HC Sean McDermott said. That knocks Davis out for the rest of the playoffs and sends him into free agency this offseason with a major injury. Davis turns just 27 in April but has only 32 catches across the past two seasons. He's only worth stashing in the deepest of dynasty leagues. The Bills are down to Khalil Shakir, Brandin Cooks, Keon Coleman, and Tyrell Shavers as their healthy WRs. We'll see if WR Josh Palmer can make it back from his ankle injury for Saturday's game vs. the Broncos. WR Curtis Samuel, who's been out since Week 11, has been designated to return from IR, giving him a chance to play this weekend.

Update: Shavers also tore an ACL in the win over the Jaguars, McDermott announced Tuesday.

Mike Tomlin Out as Steelers’ Head Coach

Steelers HC Mike Tomlin informed the team that he is stepping down as the head coach. The Steelers now will be looking for only their fourth head coach since 1969. Mike Tomlin has had a historic run as the Pittsburgh Steelers head coach. He never had a losing season in 19 years as the Steelers' head coach. With one Super Bowl win and one loss, he made his mark on the franchise.

Will Tucker Kraft Return for Week 1?

Packers beat writer Matt Schneidman relayed the full extent of TE Tucker Kraft’s season-ending knee injury. The 25-year-old suffered a torn ACL, along with a partially torn meniscus and a “damaged” LCL. Kraft expects to start training camp on the PUP list but sounded optimistic about his chance of playing Week 1. “My timeline, I’m not in a race or anything like that. It happened. By the time Week 1 rolls around, I’ll be 10 months post-surgery and hopefully bulletproofed by then,” Kraft said via The Athletic. “I already feel pretty good. My progress so far has been great. Some would say even ahead of schedule. So, not trying to blow anything out of proportion. I’m not even 10 weeks in yet, but it’s feeling good so far. Everything’s going great. I’m in good hands here.” We’ll see where Kraft comes out in 2026 ADP. He finished 2025 as the PPR TE3 in points per game.

        Nico Collins Concussed

Texans WR Nico Collins sustained a concussion in Monday night's Wild Card win over the Steelers. He had trouble getting off the field and was carted back to the locker room. It's Collins' first documented concussion, but it'll be a challenge for him to clear protocol before Sunday's game vs. the Patriots. We'll keep you updated on his progress. Houston got an out-of-nowhere 144-yard game from WR Christian Kirk in Pittsburgh. He'll be joined by Jayden Higgins and Xavier Hutchinson as the Texans' top three WRs if Collins is out this weekend. TE Dalton Schultz would also be a candidate for more work.

Cam Skattebo Targeting Return By Training Camp

Giants RB Cam Skattebo said his goal is to be back on the field for training camp. He's working back from a right tibia fracture, ruptured deltoid ligament, and dislocated ankle suffered in the October 26 game against the Eagles. He's resumed jogging and said his rehab is on track.

        George Kittle Has Torn Achilles

        1:24am UTC 1/12/26

49ers TE George Kittle tore his right Achilles in Sunday's Wild Card win over the Eagles, HC Kyle Shanahan confirmed afterward. That ends Kittle's season and threatens his availability for the start of the 2026 campaign, which kicks off in about eight months. Kittle won't be helped by the fact that he's 32 with a lengthy injury history. It's possible that we never see a dominant version of Kittle again. We'll keep you updated on his rehab progress this offseason. Jake Tonges will step in as San Francisco's lead TE for the rest of this playoff run -- and potentially early next season. He's averaged 6.7 targets, 4.8 catches, 45 yards, and 0.5 TDs across six games without Kittle this season.

He was added to the injury report on Thursday but was able to get in a limited practice on Friday. The hammy adds some risk to Boutte's fantasy outlook, but he should be in his usual downfield role tonight.

The rookie was wearing an ankle brace in his limited practice on Friday and is a safe bet to be operating at less than 100% in this one. But we are projecting Hampton to lead Los Angeles' backfield, ahead of RB Kimani Vidal.

X-Rays Clean On Matt Stafford's Finger

X-rays on the right finger injury Rams QB Matt Stafford suffered in Saturday's win over the Panthers came back clean, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Stafford banged the finger on edge rusher D.J. Wonnum late in the first half. "It wasn't pleasant. It wasn't great," Stafford said afterward. "We'll see what it is. I was obviously able to finish the game and throw it decent. Once the ball's snapped, the adrenaline's pretty good, so we'll hopefully just keep it going." Stafford struggled during the third quarter but was able to engineer a pair of TD drives in the fourth. We'll keep a close eye on his status leading up to next weekend's Divisional Round game vs. the Seahawks or Bears.

Bills WR Josh Palmer (ankle) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's Wild Card game vs. the Jaguars. A weak Buffalo WR corps gets weaker.
