Jordyn Tyson Won't Practice This Week

Saints WR Jordyn Tyson will not practice this week, GM Mickey Loomis said Wednesday. Tyson traveled with the team to Paris for Sunday's game vs. the Steelers and is "improving," per Loomis. "We feel like we're getting closer," Loomis added. "I don't have a specific timetable for [his return] yet, but we're encouraged." Tyson will miss Week 7 and then get a Week 8 bye. We'll see if he's ready to make his debut in Week 9 vs. the Browns. Tyson remains a high-upside bench stash.

Brandon McManus Next To Kick For Rams

The Rams are signing K Brandon McManus, NFL Network reports. He'll be the team's third kicker in as many weeks after cutting K Harrison Mevis and losing K Blake Grupe to a torn ACL. McManus kicked for Green Bay most of last season, connecting on 80% of his FG tries and 97% of his XPs. He sports a career 82% FG conversion rate and 97% XP conversion rate. There's fantasy upside here in a theoretically strong Rams offense that plays its home games indoors. But L.A. ranks just 20th in points per game through 6 weeks.

Terrance Ferguson Out Beyond Week 7

Rams TE Terrance Ferguson (ankle) is expected to be out beyond when first eligible to return in Week 8, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Ferguson's recovery from his ankle injury “will take some time," a source tells Schefter. We'll look for further updates on exactly how much longer Ferguson will be sidelined, but this obviously makes him a less attractive stash. TE Tyler Higbee, meanwhile, gains value with both Ferguson and WR Davante Adams out for the foreseeable future.

Najee Harris Released After Criticizing the Giants’ RB Rotation

RB Najee Harris will be released by the New York Giants according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. This comes on the heels of a loss to the Saints, in which open week starter Cam Skattebo played only 6 snaps with no touches in the game. Harris played 11 snaps with 4 rushes for 2 yards. Devin Singletary (31) and Tyrone Tracy (29) led the team in snaps. No RB hit 20 rushing yards in the game. Harris could certainly get another chance to make a roster for an RB-needy team with injuries.

Mike Evans Dealing With Achilles Tendonitis

49ers HC Kyle Shanahan said after Monday night's win over the Commanders that WR Mike Evans is dealing with Achilles tendonitis. "It's something that he's had before," Shanahan said. "It's something that bothered him throughout the week. ... It flared up tonight. I hope he recovers throughout the week. You don't think it's a long-term thing. ... Hopefully he'll be able to play next week." Shanahan also said that the team has been leaving it up to Evans whether he plays through the issue. Don't expect him to practice much, if at all, this week. We'll see if he's able to suit up for Sunday's game vs. the Falcons. Evans gets a Week 8 bye.

Jayden Daniels Reaches 300 Passing Yards, Keeps QB1 Streak Rolling

Jayden Daniels overcame a slow start to complete 29 of 40 attempts for 300 yards and 2 TDs, while adding 10 yards on the ground in a comeback bid that fell short against the 49ers. His 21.0 PPR points were good for a QB7 finish in Week 6, giving him QB1 finishes in back-to-back weeks since returning from his elbow injury.

Achilles Knocks Mike Evans Out For Second Half

49ers WR Mike Evans missed the second half of Monday night's game vs. the Commanders with Achilles trouble. Evans entered this one questionable with the Achilles after missing practice all week. He caught 3 of 5 targets for 94 yards in the first half but looked noticeably slowed in the open field. He aggravated the Achilles issue with about a minute left in the first half, hobbled back to the locker room, and was ruled out at halftime. We'll see if Evans is able to heal up enough to play vs. the Falcons this coming Sunday. The 49ers get a Week 8 bye.

Terry McLaurin Carted Off With Left Knee Injury

Commanders WR Terry McLaurin injured his left knee on a non-contact play in the first quarter of Monday night's game vs. the 49ers. He was put in a brace and carted off. We'll update McLaurin's status when we know more, but this clearly looks like a serious injury.

Update: McLaurin has been ruled out with a knee injury.

        Mike Evans Active

49ers WR Mike Evans (Achilles, rib) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Commanders. He missed practice all week as he battled Achilles soreness. That could play a factor tonight, but Evans also boasts a big ceiling against Washington’s 27th-ranked WR defense.

Jordan Mason Nears Return, But Not Back Yet

The Vikings have designated RB Jordan Mason to return to practice. That clears him to practice Wednesday for the first time since landing on IR with a thumb fracture after Week 1. The team will still need to activate Mason from IR before he can play.

Tank Dell Makes Long-Awaited Return This Week

Texans WR Tank Dell will play vs. the Giants this weekend, HC Demeco Ryans said Monday. It'll be Dell's first game since his December 2024 multi-ligament knee injury. He's returning to a WR corps led by Nico Collins that just added Marvin Harrison and that's getting strong play from Jaylin Noel. Dell has a lot of work to do to carve out a significant role and isn't worth adding to fantasy rosters at this point.
