Johnson out for Week 15

Lions RB Kerryon Johnson (knee) is out for Sunday’s game against the Bills. The rookie has yet to practice since going down and has no timetable for return. Detroit’s backfield devolved into a 3-man committee last week with LeGarrette Blount, Theo Riddick and Zach Zenner. It’s a situation best avoided in Week 15 fantasy lineups.

The 49ers promoted RB Kerryon Johnson from the practice squad to the active roster. He's now eligible to play against the Packers on Sunday night. Johnson joined the team 2 weeks ago. We'll see how big a role he plays in Week 3 -- if he plays at all. But he shouldn't be in fantasy lineups. San Francisco placed RB JaMycal Hasty (ankle) on IR in a corresponding roster move.

He's only worth stashing in deep fantasy leagues.
