Lions QB Jeff Driskel (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Bears. He was limited in practice all week. Even if Driskel suits up for this one, there's a good chance that his rushing ability is curtailed. He's just a low-end QB2 for Week 13. Detroit will be forced to turn to QB David Blough if Driskel is out.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the Lions are placing QB Jeff Driskel on IR with his hamstring injury. That keeps David Blough in place as the fill-in for as long as Matthew Stafford remains out with his back injury. Detroit has also signed QB Kyle Sloter off Arizona's practice squad.

The 49ers selected QB Jeff Driskel in the 6th round of the 2016 NFL Draft.  After starting his college career at Florida, Driskel transferred to Louisiana Tech for the 2015 season.  He completed 62.3% of his passes with 27 TDs and 8 INTs for the Bulldogs.  He added another 323 yards and 5 scores on the ground.  The 6'4, 234-pounder is a superb athlete, with a SPARQ score in the 88th percentile among QBs.  That makes him an intriguing fit in HC Chip Kelly's offense.
