Patrick Mahomes Has Surgery For Torn ACL And LCL
Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes underwent successful surgery on his left knee on Monday, the team announced. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Mahomes needed a torn ACL and LCL repaired. "While that can complicate recovery, it doesn’t necessary extend his rehab longer than 9 months or so," Rapoport adds. We'll keep you updated on Mahomes' progress throughout the offseason, but a nine-month recovery would take him into mid-September. He'll be right up against it to be ready for the 2026 season opener.
