Malik Nabers Opens Camp in Individual Drills. Week 1 Looks Possible

Giants WR Malik Nabers opened training camp in individual drills, and ESPN's Jordan Raanan said he “looked good” in videos of him running. Nabers tore multiple ligaments in his knee in the second quarter of the Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Earlier this year, he underwent a scar-tissue cleanup procedure on the knee, but with him back on the field this early, Week 1 looks like a strong possibility.

Chris Brazzell Likely to Miss Start of Season

Panthers WR Chris Brazzell suffered a "moderate" LCL tear in his left knee Wednesday, according to multiple reports. He's expected to miss "up to eight weeks." Brazzell is headed for a second opinion. The third-round rookie had missed two practices earlier in the week because of soreness in the same knee.

Kenyon Sadiq Starts Camp on Time

Jets TE Kenyon Sadiq took the field Wednesday for the start of training camp, confirming that he and the team appropriately timed his "minor procedure" to address a hernia. The issue had lingered since Sadiq's final college season, and HC Aaron Glenn said back in May that they expected the rookie to be ready for training camp.

Jahmyr Gibbs Not Spotted at Practice

Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs wasn't participating for the open of training camp on Wednesday. The Lions picked up Gibbs' fifth-year option in April, tying him to the team through the 2027 season. But his absence from camp is likely tied to his desire for a long-term contract.

Don't Give Up on Roman Wilson Yet?

The Steelers drafted WR Roman Wilson in Round 3 in 2024. Since then, he has tallied just 12 total receptions across two pro seasons. That made him a surprising target for praise Tuesday.

Marvin Harrison Jr. Already Back on the Field

Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. rolled his left ankle over the weekend but was back practicing with the team Tuesday. That confirms the issue was as minor as suspected. Barring any further setbacks, this shouldn't impact your outlook for Harrison in 2026 (and didn't affect our projections).

A.J. Brown Falters, and More Noteworthy Items About Patriots WRs

New England's renovated WR corps will be interesting to watch throughout the summer, and the first days of camp have already supplied some interesting notes. A.J. Brown, for one thing, has reportedly gotten off to a slow start in his connection with QB Drake Maye. According to Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald, Brown caught just three of 10 passes from his new QB through Tuesday's workout, limited to the short range. Kayshon Boutte, meanwhile, "has been a highlight machine" despite running fourth among Pats wideouts. Romeo Doubs and DeMario Douglas have joined Brown as the top three.

Zach Charbonnet Might Be Ready Sooner Than We Expected

SI's Albert Breer visited Seahawks training camp early this week and had an interesting take on the return timeline for RB Zach Charbonnet in his recovery from a January ACL tear. Charbonnet's currently on the physically unable to perform list but eligible to come off at any point the team deems him ready to practice. If he stays on the PUP throughout camp, the RB would be eligible to stay on the list into the season. That would cost him at least the first four games.

Colts Sound Ready To Give Josh Downs More Playing Time

Colts HC Shane Steichen called WR Josh Downs "a tremendous football player" and said he's "trying to find different ways to get him the ball." Boosting Downs' playing time would be a good place to start. WR Michael Pittman's departure leaves behind a big opportunity.

Is Kyle Williams On The Roster Bubble?

Patriots WR Kyle Williams has been buried on the depth chart early in training camp, according to The Boston Herald's Andrew Callahan. Williams got no work with QB Drake Maye on Tuesday, per Callahan, trailing WRs A.J. Brown, Romeo Doubs, Kayshon Boutte, Mack Hollins, Efton Chism, and Demario Douglas. Woof.

De'Von Achane A Full Go for Training Camp

De’Zhaun Stribling Already Earning Trust From Brock Purdy

49ers rookie WR De’Zhaun Stribling was a surprise pick at 33rd overall. Early in camp, though, he’s already earning the trust of QB Brock Purdy. “The way he runs routes, the detail of it … obviously, we’re coaching him up on some stuff and whatnot, but more than anything, he’s come in and understands the route depth, the details, the alignments in our offense. And all those things are really tough for rookies. It’s not easy. It’s a whole other language.”

Chris Bell Nears Camp Return in a Thin Dolphins WR Room

Dolphins WR Chris Bell had ACL surgery in December but appears close to returning. HC Jeff Hafley said Bell is "not very far away," per Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post, and seemed to put the timeline closer to weeks than months. Bell already completed the Dolphins conditioning test and will be running at the start of camp.
