DeVonta Smith & Dontayvion Wicks Out For Week 8

Eagles WRs DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) are out for Sunday night’s game vs. the Commanders. That should again leave Darius Cooper and Hollywood Brown as Philly’s primary outside receivers, with Makai Lemon manning the slot. Lemon, coming off a 7-67-1 line last week, is the only bankable fantasy play here.

Saquon Barkley Will Play Week 8

Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (hamstring, back) is not listed on the final injury report and will play vs. the Commanders on Sunday night. He only got in a limited practice on Friday and, if last week is any indication, won’t be close to 100% for this one. Barkley wound up playing just 10 snaps last week, although he got 9 touches and took them for 71 yards and a TD. He’s a risk/reward Week 8 fantasy start. Check your Team Dashboard to see if he belongs in your starting lineup.

Carnell Tate Out For Week 8, Calvin Ridley Questionable

Titans WR Carnell Tate (shoulder) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Bengals. We don’t have any details on his shoulder injury, but he gets a Week 9 bye to heal up. WR Calvin Ridley (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game but should play after getting in a full practice on Friday. Ridley and Elic Ayomanor will serve as Tennessee’s primary outside receivers but aren’t recommended fantasy starts against a Cincinnati defense that’s allowed the second-fewest fantasy points per game to outside receivers. WR Wan’Dale Robinson has a much better matchup in the slot and is a viable WR4 or flex play in PPR leagues this week.

Breece Hall Questionable For Week 8

Jets RB Breece Hall (quad) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Raiders. Neither Hall nor HC Aaron Glenn would say Friday whether Hall will be back for this one. We’ll look for updates on his status and get New York’s inactives around 11:30 am ET on Sunday.

Amon-Ra St. Brown Will Play Week 8

Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) is not listed on the final injury report for this weekend’s game vs. the Vikings. He put in full practices on Thursday and Friday after sitting out Wednesday. St. Brown remains a must-start in season-long leagues. He’s averaged 7.8 catches and 89 yards over his last 4 games against Minnesota.

Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs (shoulder) is off the final Week 8 injury report. He put in full practices on Thursday and Friday and should be ready for his usual high-volume role vs. the Vikings this weekend. Gibbs remains a must-start in season-long leagues, despite the tough matchup.

D.J. Moore Questionable, Expects To Play Week 8

Bills WR D.J. Moore (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Ravens. He was limited in practice all week, wearing a non-contact jersey. Moore said Friday that he expects to play this weekend, according to NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe. We’ll get Buffalo’s inactives around 11:30 am ET Sunday.

Dalton Kincaid Questionable For Week 8

Bills TE Dalton Kincaid (chest) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Ravens. Lamar Jackson Will Start Week 8

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (ankle) will start this weekend's game vs. the Bills, HC Jesse Minter announced Friday. Jackson was a full participant in practice all week. He and the team have seemingly been conservative coming back from this injury, so we're expecting him to at least be close to 100%. There's still a bit more risk here than usual, but Jackson has big fantasy upside in a likely shootout against Buffalo's 29th-ranked QB defense.

A.J. Brown Questionable For Week 8

Patriots WR A.J. Brown (knee, ankle) is listed as questionable for this weekend's game vs. the Dolphins. He didn't practice on Thursday or Friday after his knee "flared up," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "Just wasn't able to to be able to practice or finish practice on Wednesday, and so we continue to treat him, and then we'll see where he is tomorrow," HC Mike Vrabel said Friday. We'll see if Brown makes the trip to Miami on Saturday. He'll obviously carry elevated risk in fantasy lineups if he does suit up this weekend. Browns' absence would leave Demario Douglas, Kyle Williams, and Efton Chism as New England's top 3 WRs.

Emeka Egbuka Out For Week 8

Buccaneers WR Emeka Egbuka (concussion, foot) is out for this weekend's game vs. the Falcons. HC Todd Bowles said Friday that Egbuka has cleared concussion protocol but is out with the foot injury. His absence should again leave WRs Ted Hurst (93% route rate last week) and Tez Johnson (100%) in full-time roles. They're intriguing fliers in daily contests, but you should be able to do better in season-long lineups.

        Josh Jacobs’ Ugly-But-Productive Outing

Packers RB Josh Jacobs turned in the ugliest 23.2-PPR-point outing you’ll ever see in Thursday night’s win over the Panthers. He managed just 39 yards on 21 carries (1.9 YPC), with a long run of 6 yards and 14 carries that went for 1 yard or fewer. He also caught all 6 of his targets for just 13 yards. Luckily, two of Jacobs’ touches went for TDs: a one-yard score in the second quarter after a nice cut behind the line of scrimmage, and a four-yard TD catch in the third quarter after splitting out of the backfield.

Bryce Young Under Siege Again in Second Straight Dud

Panthers QB Bryce Young threw for 209 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT in Thursday night's loss to the Packers. He was sitting on a massive dud until connecting with WR Jalen Coker for a 26-yard catch-and-run TD in the fourth quarter. Young was under constant duress in this one, getting pressured on 49% of his dropbacks. Young completed 7 of 17 passes for 41 yards and 1 INT when pressured, per NFL Next Gen Stats. Christian Watson Leaves With Chest Injury

Packers WR Christian Watson suffered a chest injury at the end of a 53-yard catch in the second quarter of Thursday night's game vs. the Panthers. Watson made his way off the field and was initially deemed questionable to return, but he's now headed to a local hospital for further evaluation. We'll update Watson's status when we know more.

Update: Watson passed all tests at the hospital and has been cleared to return to the stadium, Amazon's Kaylee Hartung reports. Watson still hasn't officially been ruled out.

Update: Watson returned late in the third quarter.
