Schobert out again, Randall questionable vs. Chiefs | Shark Bites | Draft Sharks

The Browns have ruled MLB Joe Schobert (hamstring) out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs. It'll be his 3rd straight missed game. S Damarious Randall (groin), meanwhile, is questionable once again. That marks the 2nd straight week and 5th time this season. Randall missed all 3 days of practice this week, though, which is different. We'll check his status Sunday morning. You should make alternate IDP plans, though -- especially given a Chiefs matchup that hasn't been helpful to IDP scoring.

Browns DE Olivier Vernon (knee) is active for today's game against the Steelers. He missed the past 3 games and returns to a lackluster sack matchup. But Vernon's OK for IDP consideration. Cleveland also made the surprising move of making FS Damarious Randall a healthy scratch. Randall reportedly didn't even travel with the team. Scott Petrak of BrownsZone.com writes that "it's likely a disciplinary measure." Juston Burris and Sheldrick Redwine will likely start at safety against the Steelers. Neither is a strong IDP option.

Browns starting CBs Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams are inactive for today's game against the Seahawks. That marks the 4th straight game both players will have missed with hamstring injuries.

Browns CBs Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams will miss their 3rd straight games. Both are dealing with hamstring injuries and have yet to return to practice since going down. S Morgan Burnett is returning, though. He's active after missing the past 2 contests with a quad injury.
