Jaguars S Josh Jones got ejected about halfway through Sunday's loss to the Texans after a shot to the helmet of Houston WR Brandin Cooks. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that no suspension is expected to follow. Jones remained a starter with Jarrod Wilson back from IR and should remain in that role for a Week 6 clash with the Lions.
Jaguars S Josh Jones left in the 1st half of Sunday's loss to the Titans with a shoulder injury and did not return. He wound up playing just 24% of the defensive snaps, with Andrew Wingard coming on for the rest of the playing time but managed just 3 tackles. He'd be the fill-in starter for next Sunday's game against the Ravens if Jones remains out.
