Jets RB Chris Ivory injured his knee in the 1st quarter of Sunday's game against the Patriots. He's considered questionable to return. Bilal Powell and Stevan Ridley will handle backfield work as long as Ivory is out.
Update: Ivory returned for the start of the 2nd half.
The Bills have released RB Chris Ivory. It's not a surprising move after the team signed veteran RB Frank Gore, and it saves the Bills $2.156 million. Ivory has topped 110 carries for 6 straight seasons but has also averaged 3.8 yards per carry or less each of the past 3 years. That included a career-low 3.3 in 2018. We'll see if the 31-year-old catches on somewhere else. Don't bet on him being much of a 2019 fantasy football factor, though.
Bills RB Chris Ivory (shoulder) is inactive for today’s game against the Patriots. RB Keith Ford will back up RB LeSean McCoy but isn’t a fantasy option.
Bills RBs LeSean McCoy (hamstring) and Chris Ivory (shoulder) are inactive for today’s game against the Lions. That leaves Marcus Murphy as Buffalo’s likely lead back. The 5’9, 195-pounder has averaged 5.2 yards per carry on 41 attempts this season and hauled in 11 of 19 targets but for just 26 yards. We’d expect him to get 12-15 touches today, putting him in play as a desperation RB3 or flex. Recent practice squad call-up Keith Ford will serve as the #2 RB.
Bills RB Chris Ivory (shoulder) is inactive for today’s game against the Jets. That should mean a few extra touches for RB LeSean McCoy.
Bills RB Chris Ivory (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Jets after a limited week of practice. He’s not a fantasy option, but his absence could mean a few extra touches for RB LeSean McCoy.
