Rams WR Brandin Cooks is visiting a concussion specialist in Pittsburgh this week, HC Sean McVay said. Cooks suffered his 4th documented concussion and his 2nd in the past month in Sunday's win over the Bengals. “I think we are just taking it a day at a time,” McVay said. “At least try to get some information to Brandin and then, we can make a decision that is best for him. Anytime that you have something like this occur, you want to consider the human being first and foremost, and that’s what we are going to do, take our time. No question, it will be something that we are going to be smart with." Cooks is likely looking at an extended absence here. Josh Reynolds will step in as Los Angeles' #3 WR and is worth an add in deeper fantasy leagues.
Texans WR Brandin Cooks (neck) practiced all week, including a full workout on Friday, and isn't listed on the final injury report. He'll return for Sunday's game against the Colts and is safe to get back into fantasy lineups as a lower-end WR2.
The Texans expect WR Brandin Cooks (neck) to return for Sunday's game against the Colts, according to The Houston Chronicle. Cooks was seemingly close to playing vs. the Bears this past week. He's back in the WR2 mix for Week 15. And his return is good news for QB Deshaun Watson.
Texans WR Brandin Cooks (foot, neck) is officially inactive for today’s game against the Bears. Keke Coutee (knee) is active and suddenly looks like QB Deshaun Watson’s #1 WR. WR Chad Hansen and TE Jordan Akins also project for targets boosts.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Texans WR Brandin Cooks is not expected to play today against the Bears, "barring significant late improvement." He's dealing with foot and neck issues. Cooks is officially questionable, and ESPN's Adam Schefter previously reported that Houston expected the WR to play. So we'll need to confirm his status when the inactives come out at about 11:30 a.m. ET. For now, though, expect to not have Cooks available for your fantasy football lineups.
ESPN's Adam Schefter hears that Texans WRs Brandin Cooks (foot, neck) and Keke Coutee (knee) are expected to play vs. the Bears today. Neither guy seemed to be in any danger of missing this one. Both are fine to get into fantasy lineups.
