Steelers RB Kenneth Gainwell led Pittsburgh’s backfield in Week 15, totaling 126 yards on 20 touches vs. Miami. Jaylen Warren -- who carried a questionable (illness) designation -- managed only 48 yards on 15 attempts.

Patrick Mahomes Has Surgery For Torn ACL And LCL

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes underwent successful surgery on his left knee on Monday, the team announced. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Mahomes needed a torn ACL and LCL repaired. "While that can complicate recovery, it doesn’t necessary extend his rehab longer than 9 months or so," Rapoport adds. We'll keep you updated on Mahomes' progress throughout the offseason, but a nine-month recovery would take him into mid-September. He'll be right up against it to be ready for the 2026 season opener.

Pec Injury Ends Brandon Jones' Regular Season

The Broncos on Monday placed S Brandon Jones on IR with a pectoral injury he suffered in Sunday's win over the Packers. With just three regular-season games left, that obviously knocks Jones out until at least the playoffs.

Matt Prater To Miss Time With Quad Injury

Bills HC Sean McDermott said Monday that K Matt Prater is "week to week" with a right quad injury. "Not ideal. Matt's done a really good job having that consistency during the year. Obviously, T-Bass [Tyler Bass] had the surgery, so he's not an option either. So we'll figure that piece out," McDermott said. Buffalo travels to Cleveland to face the Browns in Week 16.

Davante Adams "Week To Week" With Hamstring Injury

Rams WR Davante Adams is considered "week to week" with his hamstring injury, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Rapoport confirms that Adams aggravated the issue that had him on the injury report coming into Sunday's game vs. the Lions, rather than suffering a new injury. But we're not sure that's any better. Adams won't play vs. the Seahawks on Thursday night, and it's possible that we don't see him again until the postseason. He's worth keeping stashed on most fantasy rosters in case he's able to make it back for Week 17. But you certainly should not be counting on it.

Luther Burden "Day To Day" With Ankle Injury

Bears HC Ben Johnson labeled WR Luther Burden "day to day" with the ankle injury that knocked him out of the Week 15 win over the Browns. "Still something that we’re working through and talking about," Johnson added. "We’ll see how this week goes, in terms of whether we’ll have him Saturday night." It at least sounds like Burden dodged a serious injury, but consider him iffy for Saturday night's game against the Packers. With WR Rome Odunze likely to miss that one with his foot injury, Chicago could be down to WRs D.J. Moore and Olamide Zaccheaus. We'd expect TE Colston Loveland's role to expand in that case.

Bears Might Shut Rome Odunze Down

Bears HC Ben Johnson admitted Monday that the team might need to shut WR Rome Odunze down to let his injured foot heal. Odunze was active for yesterday's game vs. the Browns but didn't play after aggravating the injury in warmups. "All options are on the table," Johnson said. "We’re gonna do what’s best for Rome. There may be a case where we have to protect him from himself a little bit, just to make sure we get him right and he’ll be able to help us down the road." We'll keep you posted on Odunze's status throughout the week, but don't expect him to play vs. the Packers on Saturday night.

Ricky Pearsall Uncertain For Week 16

49ers WR Ricky Pearsall is iffy for next Monday night's game vs. the Colts after suffering ankle and knee injuries in the Week 15 win over the Titans, HC Kyle Shanahan said Monday. Pearsall was able to return after hurting an ankle on a hip-drop tackle in the first quarter, but a knee injury in the fourth knocked him out. Shanahan said that it's an aggravation of the PCL injury that cost Pearsall six games earlier this season. "It's real painful for awhile, but it can go away," Shanahan said. "Not at all like it was when he first did it, but it does take time for that pain to go away. Hopefully sooner than later." We'll keep you updated on Pearsall's status throughout the week, but fantasy owners should not be banking on him playing against the Colts.

Patriots LB Robert Spillane made the active roster for Sunday's loss to the Bills after entering the weekend questionable with a foot injury that limited his final two days of practice. If you started him in your IDP lineup, though, you probably noticed that Spillane logged absolutely no stats. That's because New England decided to hold out its lead LB and treat him only as an "emergency" option.

Jaguars RB Bhayshul Tuten is set for surgery to repair a finger injury suffered in the Week 15 win over the Jets, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports. "He’ll miss a few weeks but should be back for the playoffs," Garafolo adds. The rookie seems safe to drop during waiver runs this week. Tuten's absence should leave RB Travis Etienne in a workhorse role the rest of the way. LeQuint Allen will be the No. 2 RB, but he's totaled just 18 carries and 11 targets all season. Allen is worth stashing in deeper fantasy leagues in case Etienne gets hurt in this weekend's game vs. the Broncos.

        Anthony Richardson Medically Cleared

        6:24pm UTC 12/15/25

Colts QB Anthony Richardson has been medically cleared after fracturing his orbital bone on October 12, according to CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz. "The hope is to have him back practicing in the near future," Zenitz adds. Richardson has been out for over two months and isn't exactly what we'd call a polished player. So it might be asking too much to have him play again this season. His odds of getting back out there would probably improve if the Colts are eliminated from playoff contention. (They currently have just an 8% chance to make it, according to The Athletic's Playoff Predictor.) You could stash Richardson in deep 2-QB and superflex leagues, but don't drop anyone of value for him.

Christian Watson's Injury Not Long Term

        4:14pm UTC 12/15/25

Packers WR Christian Watson did not suffer a "long-term injury" in Sunday's loss to the Broncos, ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports. Watson was taken to a local hospital for scans on his lungs, per Demovsky, but was able to fly home with the team. "His status for Saturday’s game against the Bears will be determined later in the week," Demovsky adds. It's all good news, but fantasy owners should at least be lining up an alternative plan for Week 16 fantasy lineups. We'll keep you updated on Watson's status throughout the week.
